Friday Finds: On Repeat

June 21, 2013 Posted by Ginger Ciminello Friday Finds, Recommendations

Friday Finds Music

This song.

These lyrics.

I awake in the middle of the night and I hear it. I know these words are going to fill my head and heart when I’m fighting through labor. This song was the first one I added to my delivery playlist. First one.

Even if you’ve heard this a million times, I hope you’ll listen once more and be blessed by Lord I Need You once more this week.

Lord, I come, I confess
Bowing here I find my rest
Without You I fall apart
You’re the One that guides my heartLord, I need You, oh, I need You
Every hour I need You
My one defense, my righteousness
Oh God, how I need YouWhere sin runs deep Your grace is more
Where grace is found is where You are
And where You are, Lord, I am free
Holiness is Christ in meLord, I need You, oh, I need You
Every hour I need You
My one defense, my righteousness
Oh God, how I need You

Teach my song to rise to You
When temptation comes my way
And when I cannot stand I’ll fall on You
Jesus, You’re my hope and stay

Lord, I need You, oh, I need You
Every hour I need You
My one defense, my righteousness
Oh God, how I need You

You’re my one defense, my righteousness
Oh God, how I need You
My one defense, my righteousness
Oh God, how I need You
