Thursday Tips: Truth vs. Lies
“For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.” 2 Corinthians 10:3-5, NIV
So really, the Thursday tip comes from God… then down to Paul… then down to us. But I discovered this specific activity only last week from one Annie Downs, author of “From Head to Foot.” (Sound familiar?) Check out the video and I’ll catch you after the jump…
2. Take time this week to identify the lies you are prone to believe. Write them down on a note card.
3. Flip those cards over and record a bit of TRUTH from God’s word. Check the concordance in the back of your Bible if you need help! If you still need help, leave a comment and someone will respond… hopefully lots of someones will respond.
4. Take every thought captive and make it obedient to Christ. (This one will be on repeat for always.)
