Thursday Tip: Remembering to Pray

April 7, 2011 Posted by Ginger Ciminello Uncategorized

Can I be really honest with you?  Sometimes when people ask me to pray for them I have the best possible intentions.  I pray for them for a day or two… but then life and lists and other requests tend to crowd out my thoughts and prayer life.  I consistently want to get better at this!  A HUGE part of prayer is listening, but today we are just going to be talking about praying for the requests of others.  I have a few tips that seem to help me navigate my own requests and I wanted to share them in hopes that they might aid you!

(P.S. If you haven’t figured it out yet, I’m a dork… but I’m totally cool with it.)

Prayer from Ginger Ciminello on Vimeo.

I know these might seem goofy to some people, but they work for me. The more that I see these requests, the more that I remember to pray. 1 Thessalonians 5:17 says, “Never stop praying.” What helps you remember to pray?

Following,
Ginger
